Dreamworthy Destinations

Europe

 Highlights of Europe

Though Europe is the second smallest continent in terms of land area, the region is a giant in terms of experiences it has to offer. Bordered by the Arctic Ocean to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the west, Asia to the east, and a quartet of seas to the south, the nations of Europe feature stunning landscapes, an abundance of cultural diversity, and countless wonders of ancient history.

When you take in the highlights of Europe, you’ll experience some of the continent’s most awe-inspiring destinations, including London, Rome, Paris, and Greece. Though the weather may differ slightly from country to country, it’s generally best to visit Europe during the months of May, June, and September, when both the crowds and temperatures are most manageable. Experience the best of Europe by taking in a combination of iconic landmarks, authentic local excursions, and cultural activities. From enjoying afternoon tea in northwestern Europe to partying on a Greek beach in the south, there’s a captivating experience for everyone in your travel party.

Caribbean

 Southern Caribbean

Crystal blue waters, bright sunny skies, and plenty of vibrant culture set the tone for the impeccable islands of the southern Caribbean. Formed from ancient volcanic eruptions and limestone coral, these picturesque islands typically feature white sand beaches and lush tropical rainforests filled with biodiversity and natural wonders. Inhabited for more than 7,000 years by natives of the region, the Caribbean islands were colonized by various European nations in the 15th and 16th centuries. The effects of this period can still be seen today through the diversity of cultures present.

Though the weather is nice practically all year, it’s best to visit the Caribbean region between December and April. This way, you can avoid the hottest months as well as hurricane season, which is in play from June to November.

 Malta

Situated in southern Europe, Malta is an archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea between Sicily and the North African coast. Though it’s one of the smallest countries in the world, Malta packs a punch with its beautiful coastlines, turquoise lagoons, and medieval cityscapes. You’ll find a range of culinary and cultural experiences, as Malta conveys Arabic, French, Italian, and British influences. Whether you’re looking to relax on a pristine beach, explore an archaeological site, or experience a culinary tour, there’s plenty to see and do in this tiny island nation.

If you’re hoping to enjoy Malta with bustling crowds and sweltering heat, your best bet is to visit during early fall. When you visit from September to November, you’ll still be able to enjoy warm temperatures lingering on from summer, but you’ll see fewer tourists and enjoy shoulder-season prices.

Traversing East Asia from North to South

The Asian continent is the largest and most populous in the world. It spans from the frigid Siberian plains of the north to the lush rainforests of Indonesia in the south. It stretches from the Pacific Ocean in the east to the Mediterranean Sea in the west. With booming urban centers, exotic islands, and majestic natural wonders, Asia’s diversity is its strength. The continent is home to more than 2,000 languages, and it is the birthplace of eleven of the world’s major religions. And at the heart of this region are the rich cultures that have thrived for centuries. Whether you’re looking to hideaway on a pristine, remote island, bask in the Tokyo nightlife, or chase waterfalls in Bali, there’s a dream destination waiting for you in East Asia.

Consider visiting Japan in the spring or fall to catch the most temperate weather and some of the most beautiful colors you’ve ever seen. Arrive in the spring to see the iconic cherry blossoms, or plan to visit in autumn, when red, orange, and yellow leaves provide a majestic backdrop. It’s best to visit Thailand between the months of November and March to best avoid monsoon season and scorching hot temperatures. Bali, on the other hand, has drier, more moderate months in April, May, June, and September.
