Slavery existed in Africa prior to the transatlantic trade, and in fact the earlier, trans-Saharan slave trade sent more enslaved Africans east to the Arab world, over many centuries, than would eventually be transported west to the Americas.  Paradise in Japan

8 or 12 Nights

Japan, which secluded itself from the rest of the world for more than 250 years, has been one of the slowest of the Industrial nations to internationalize and make itself a tourist-friendly destination. However, this is part of the mystery of Japan making it probably one of the most misconceived countries in the world.   A land of contrasts, Japan is a fascinating destination for visitors. Combining the attractions of an ancient and unfamiliar culture with all the trappings of one of the world powerhouses in entertainment, fashion, and innovation, Japan is a journey of discovery wherever you go.
